Long Beach, a city with deep musical roots and a track record of producing genre-defining artists, is welcoming travelers at Long Beach Airport with some of that signature sound.

The Airport’s LGB Live! music program includes 160 planned performances this year, offering vibrant culture for travelers as they arrive and depart through Long Beach’s award-winning indoor-outdoor concourse.

For a City known as the birthplace of influential acts like Snoop Dogg, Warren G, Sublime, and a new wave of emerging talent, music is more than entertainment—it’s a part of the City’s identity and the quintessential way to greet travelers.

The newly expanded LGB Live! program—quadrupling from 40 to 160 shows due to popular demand— officially kicked off this spring and will continue to showcase a diverse lineup of paid professional musicians. Scheduled performances are typically held post-security for ticketed passengers from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sundays, with additional shows added during peak travel periods.

LGB Live! also serves as an important platform for young artists, offering students and emerging performers a professional stage in a dynamic public setting. It reflects the City’s long-standing tradition of nurturing homegrown talent and celebrating the diverse musical voices that contribute to its cultural fabric. To that end, the roster includes groups from Cabrillo, Millikan, Long Beach Polytechnic and Wilson high schools, offering audiences a chance to hear from rising stars.

LGB Live! echoes Long Beach’s live music scene and creative pulse while enhancing the Airport’s distinctly easygoing travel experience as the gateway of choice for Southern California.

Officially trademarked as america’s coolest airport™, LGB captures the unmistakable rhythm of Long Beach.
