Celebrate Howl-O-Ween at El Dorado Nature Center
Get ready for a spooktacular time at the City of Long Beach’s annual Howl-o-Ween Festival on Saturday, Oct. 18.
Come in your favorite costume and stop by El Dorado Nature Center from 2 to 6 p.m. for an afternoon of family-friendly fun. Gather your ghouls, goblins and ghosts to trick-or-treat along the trails, where spooky surprises await around every bend.
Next, stop by the animal education village to meet some creepy-crawly critters, listen to spine-tingling stories from the South Coast Storytellers and bounce around in the Opossum Patch.
Kids (and kids at heart) can enjoy face painting, festive crafts and tasty snacks for purchase from Wetzel’s Pretzels and Summer Ice Cream Truck.
The last vehicle entry is at 4:30 p.m. and the last trail entry is at 5 p.m. Parking is free and a donation of $5 per person is encouraged at the gate to support Friends of El Dorado Nature Center. Credit card and tap pay accepted.
For more information about the festival, please call 562.570.1745. Additional information about the El Dorado Nature Center is available on its webpage.
