Long Beach Host Spring Break Fun at Local Beach Parks
Looking for a fun, active way for your kids to spend spring break? The City of Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine (PRM) is bringing back Spring Fun Days — a free youth recreation program designed to keep kids engaged all week long.
Open to children ages 5 to 12, Spring Fun Days offers a variety of fun activities, including sports, group games, arts and crafts and special themed events. Whether your child loves to run, paint, build or play, there’s something for everyone.
The free drop-in program will take place Monday through Friday, April 6 to 10, from noon to 5 p.m. at select parks throughout Long Beach. Registered participants may come and go during program hours, giving families flexibility throughout the week.
Pre-registration is required. Registration forms will be available beginning Monday, March 23, at participating park locations. Families are encouraged to call or visit their neighborhood park to learn more about schedules and secure a spot.
For a complete list of participating parks and additional program details, visit the Spring Fun Days webpage.
