Long Beach Airport Lands 30-Year Partnership with JetZero
A major milestone is taking flight at Long Beach Airport (LGB). JetZero, Inc.—a trailblazer in next-generation aircraft design—has signed a 30-year lease agreement that cements its long-term commitment to Long Beach and the future of sustainable aviation.
Under the new agreement, JetZero will extend its lease on approximately 16.5 acres at LGB through 2059, with an option to renew for an additional five years. The company first established its Design Center at the former Gulfstream service facility in October 2023, marking the start of a new chapter in innovation at the airport.
With this extended lease, JetZero will move forward on $50 million in capital improvements, transforming the site into a state-of-the-art campus complete with a two-story atrium entrance, Customer Experience Center, wellness facility with café and fitness center and other upgrades designed to support a growing workforce.
This landmark agreement not only strengthens JetZero’s roots in Long Beach but also bolsters the city’s role as a leader in aviation technology and sustainability—bringing new jobs and investment to the local economy.
JetZero is pioneering the development of an all-wing aircraft, a revolutionary design that could redefine efficiency and sustainability in commercial flight. In addition to its Long Beach Design Center, the company recently announced plans for its first production facility in Greensboro, North Carolina.
