Have Fun and Make a Difference—Join the Parks, Recreation and Marine team
Do you love working with people, being outdoors and giving back to your community? The City of Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine is hiring enthusiastic program leaders.
Find out what it's like to lead day camps, youth sports, aquatics and other programming at one of our upcoming job fairs:
- Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Orizaba Park Community Center (1435 Orizaba Ave.)
- Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Whaley Park Recreation Center (5620 E Atherton St.)
- Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Doris Topsy Elvord Community Center at Houghton Park (6301 Myrtle Ave.)
At each event, staff will share current and upcoming part-time job openings for recreation program leaders. Whether you're looking to build new skills, earn extra income or start a rewarding career in recreation, this is your chance to get involved.
