The City of Long Beach is inviting residents, workers and community stakeholders to help shape the City’s Fiscal Year 2027 budget by sharing their priorities through a series of upcoming community meetings and an online survey.

Community budget meetings will be held in person at locations throughout Long Beach as well as online to make participation accessible to as many people as possible. The meetings provide an opportunity for community members to learn about the budget process and offer feedback on which City services and programs matter most to them.

To support inclusive participation, interpretation services in Spanish, Khmer, Tagalog and American Sign Language will be available at all meetings.

In addition to attending a meeting, residents can share their priorities by completing the Long Beach Budget Priority Survey, which is available online through Friday, February 6, 2026, at longbeach.gov/FY27.

Input gathered will help City staff better understand community needs and preferences. All feedback will be shared with the Long Beach City Council ahead of the development of the proposed Fiscal Year 2027 budget.

Additional information about the budget development process and registration for the virtual meeting can be found at longbeach.gov/FY27.
