Summer evenings are about to get more harmonious as the Long Beach Municipal Band kicks off their 116 year of concerts in the park.
Striking up this year’s summer concert season on Wednesday, June 24, the Long Beach Municipal Band will bring timeless tunes and community spirit to local parks for another unforgettable series of free outdoor performances four nights a week, through August 1.
Concert goers can delight in weekly thematic music – from boot-stomping frontier anthems to patriotic ballads, infectious Broadway and cinematic tunes to vibrant Latin and opera classics. These concerts continue to be a crowd favorite year after year.

Bring your lawn chairs, cozy blankets and picnic dinners and enjoy an evening under the stars as you revel in the musical talents of this extraordinary local band.
Here’s the Long Beach Municipal Band’s 2025 concert schedule. All concerts begin at 6:30 p.m.
- Whaley Park North on Tuesdays, June 24 and July 1
- Bixby Annex Park on Tuesdays, July 8, 15, 22 and 29
- Los Cerritos Park on Wednesdays, June 25 and July 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30
- Conductor Larry Curtis Concert Park (at Marine Stadium) on Thursdays, June 26; July 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31
- El Dorado Park West on Fridays, June 27; July 11, 18, 25; Aug. 1.
