Long Beach is getting ready to celebrate one of its most vibrant traditions as the 43rd Annual Long Beach Pride Parade returns on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Hosted by the City of Long Beach in partnership with Long Beach Pride, the beloved parade will kick off at 10 a.m.

Each year, the Long Beach Pride Parade draws thousands of spectators and participants from across the region, transforming Ocean Boulevard into a joyful celebration of love, visibility and inclusion. This year’s event will feature more than 100 participating organizations, businesses and community groups, all showcasing vibrant floats, performances and displays that reflect the spirit of Pride.

The parade route will begin at Ocean Boulevard and Lindero Avenue and travel along iconic stretches of Ocean Boulevard and Alamitos Avenue through the heart of Downtown Long Beach.

Leading the celebration are this year’s inspiring 2026 Grand Marshals, a group of changemakers, advocates, artists and community leaders whose work continues to uplift and strengthen Long Beach:

  • Celebrity Grand Marshal – XB Valentine
  • Pride Progress Grand Marshal – Austin Metoyer
  • Marilyn Barlow Grand Marshal – Scott Kaske (Dolly Levi)
  • Robert Crow Grand Marshal – Bill Sive
  • Judith Doyle Grand Marshal – Ellie Perez
  • Bryan “Whitey” Littlefield Community Bridge Building Grand Marshal – Mark Ramos
  • “Morris Knight” Political Grand Marshal – Keir Jones

Residents and visitors planning to attend should be aware of temporary parking impacts and street closures along the parade route on Sunday, May 17. All closures and parking restrictions will be lifted by 2 p.m.

There will be no parking from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Ocean Boulevard from Redondo to Atlantic Avenues, as well as the immediate side streets on both the north and south sides of Ocean Boulevard along that stretch.

Street closures will take place as follows:

  • 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Ocean Boulevard between Redondo and Lindero, including side streets on both sides of Ocean Boulevard
  • 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Shoreline Drive between Ocean Boulevard and Shoreline Village Drive
  • 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Ocean Boulevard between Lindero and Atlantic, including all side streets on both sides of Ocean Boulevard

The City of Long Beach is proud to serve as the official host and funder of the 2026 Long Beach Pride Parade, continuing its commitment to supporting one of the city’s most meaningful and celebrated annual events.

The parade will coincide with the Long Beach Pride Festival, taking place Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17 along the Downtown waterfront. Organized separately by the Long Beach Pride organization, this year’s festival theme is “Fearless and Free,” a powerful reflection of the spirit that continues to define Pride in Long Beach.
