Celebrate Veterans Day and honor the brave people who served our country at the City of Long Beach’s upcoming celebration at Houghton Park on Saturday, Nov. 7.
The free, family-friendly event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. and features live entertainment, food trucks, a kid's zone and a boot camp-style obstacle course, as well as a beer garden for adults.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and their dancing shoes to enjoy an afternoon of live music. The entertainment lineup includes:
- All Day – DJ sets and emcee by Mr. Quick to keep the energy going throughout the celebration.
- The Satin Dollz at 1:15 p.m. — Bringing the music and choreography of the 1940s Big Band Swing Era to the stage.
- Knyght Ryder at 2:30 p.m. — Performing hits from the ’80s and ’90s as Long Beach’s favorite tribute band.
Beyond the entertainment, the event will connect veterans and community members with resources and support through a fair featuring more than 20 participating organizations.
