Pet of the Week: Ditto is Double Dose of Doggy Fun

Meet Ditto, the resident goofball at Long Beach Animal Care Services.
This charming 70-pound bundle of joy is ready to copy and paste himself right into your heart! At just 1-year-old, this handsome Pit Bull-Boxer mix has a big personality, a playful spirit and plenty of love to share.
With his handsome brindle coat, adorable floppy ears and big, happy grin, Ditto is hard to miss. But it’s his silly side that really steals the show. He especially loves squeaky things, and gets the funniest zoomies when he has a pile of toys around him. Not shy about putting on a performance, he will even throw and catch toys on his own.
Ditto is also people-loving and appreciates a good chest or butt scratch. And, he likes other dogs, having joined playgroups at the shelter and showing enthusiasm for running and playing with mutts of a similar size.
And here’s another reason to love him: Ditto is already housebroken and does a great job letting his humans know when it’s time for a potty break.
Once his zoomies wind down, this energetic boy is happy to flop beside you and soak up gentle pets and companionship. He may bring the party, but he also knows how to settle in for some quality cuddle time.
Could you be the person Ditto has been waiting for? We think so too!
