Pet of the Week: Meet Murray, a Blue-Eyed Husky Looking for a Second Chance
At Long Beach Animal Care Services, there are so many deserving pets waiting for loving homes—and this week, the spotlight is on Murray, a handsome boy with ice-blue eyes and a heart just as big as his playful personality.
This 3-year-old male Siberian Husky weighs 54 pounds and turns heads everywhere he goes with his classic black-and-white coat, bright eyes and signature husky smile. A photogenic dog, he’ll proudly pose on a play yard tire or show off his happy, tongue-out grin. Murray’s joyful spirit is impossible to miss.
Murray has been patiently waiting for his second chance since October, and he’s more than ready to find his person. When he first arrived, he was shy and unsure of the world around him. But with time, care, and kindness, Murray has truly blossomed into a playful, loving companion.
Once he gets to know you, his sweet personality shines. He lights up during playtime, especially when toys are involved, and he’s always happy to earn a tasty treat (or two!). Beneath that classic husky charm is a gentle soul who just needed a little time to feel safe.
Murray is looking for a home that will give him patience, love and lots of opportunities to play and grow. In return, he’ll give you loyalty, joy and those adorable husky moments you can’t help but smile at.
If you’ve been searching for a loyal adventure buddy with movie-star looks and a loving heart, Murray might just be your perfect match.
