Southwest Adds New Nonstop Coastal Routes from Long Beach Airport

Pack your bags, Long Beach travelers. Long Beach Airport (LGB) is spreading its wings with new nonstop daily service to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and Portland International Airport (PDX).

The new routes offered by Southwest Airlines to the Pacific Northwest are now in service with the following schedule:

  • LGB to SEA – 11:25 a.m. - 2:05 p.m.
  • SEA to LGB – Noon - 2:55 p.m.
  • LGB to PDX – 1 p.m. - 3:20 p.m.
  • PDX to LGB – Noon - 2:25 p.m.

The good news doesn’t stop there — beginning Sept. 8, 2026, Alaska Airlines is bringing back nonstop service to Seattle twice a day from LGB.
