This Weekend in Long Beach: Snoop Opens at New Amphitheater

Long Beach is kicking off summer in a big way with hometown icon Snoop Dogg taking the stage of the new F&M Bank Amphitheater. Here’s more about that and other exciting things happening this weekend:
First Fridays at Long Beach Animal Care Services
Date: Friday, June 5
Time: 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Location: Long Beach Animal Care Services (7700 E. Spring St.)
What to Expect: Adoption fees are waived for all cats, dogs and bunnies on the first Friday of each month at Long Beach Animal Care Services. The pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.

Location: 4301 Atlantic Ave.
What to Expect: Kick off the summer with special shopping and dining opportunities during this monthly first Fridays event series featuring live music and art.
