This Weekend in Long Beach: Summer Music, Movies and Kites Flying High
Long Beach is turning up the summertime volume this weekend with live music, movies under the stars, a waterfront car and bike show, kite festival, cultural celebrations and more. Here’s what’s happening:
Summer Music in the Garden
Date: Friday, Aug. 14
Time: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Location: Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden (1250 Bellflower Blvd.)
What to Expect: Bring your picnic blankets and enjoy the sound of music in the garden
during the continuation of this evening summer concert series.

Time: 6 to 9 p.m.
Location: Bembridge House (952 N. Park Circle)
What to Expect: As part of the Summer of Architecture series, Long Beach Heritage presents an evening of music on the grounds of the historic Bembridge House featuring Bread and Butter.
