Long Beach Airport (LGB) is about to serve up a major menu upgrade.

Thanks to an expanded partnership with concessions operator Paradies Lagardère, travelers will soon have more ways to grab a bite before takeoff at the award-winning airport.

Paradies recently signed a 14-year contract to operate new pre-security concessions and continue managing post-security dining and retail. As part of the agreement, more than $5.4 million in improvements are planned.

The investments will complement LGB’s existing mix of locally owned restaurants, which will be refreshed with reimagined seating areas, expanded patio dining and upgraded storefronts.

New pre-security additions will include convenient, fast-casual and grab-and-go options—no boarding pass required.

Pre-security concessions are expected to open in 2026, with post-security upgrades rolling out over the next several years. Flights will not be impacted by construction.

The update is part of a larger effort to make traveling through Long Beach the best experience possible, especially as LGB prepares to welcome the world for big events like the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Ranked among the best airports in the nation by The Washington Post, LGB is served by Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines and Southwest Airlines, offering nonstop service to 21 destinations and one-stop connections to nearly 400 cities worldwide.

So next time you fly through Long Beach, come hungry—the airport’s about to take your travel taste buds to new heights.
