Six upcoming meetings—five in person and one virtual—offer chances to ask questions and offer feedback before the budget goes to the City Council for final approval. Interpretation services in Spanish, Khmer, Tagalog and American Sign Language will be available. All meetings will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted:

  • Wednesday, August 6 – American Gold Star Manor, 3021 N. Gold Star Dr.
  • Thursday, August 7 – Virtual (advance registration required)

In addition, the City Council and Budget Oversight Committee will host formal budget hearings and review sessions throughout August and early September. Final adoption is expected before the new fiscal year begins on October 1, 2025.

Online, residents also have the opportunity to submit a Budget Digital Comment Card through August 21, available on the City’s FY 26 Budget website, where there are links to budget documents, meeting details and FAQs.
