As excitement builds for the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games set to begin on Wednesday, Feb. 4, the City of Long Beach is inviting neighborhood groups, community organizations and local businesses to host Olympic watch parties and turn the Winter Games into a shared, citywide celebration.

Whether it’s a small gathering at a local restaurant or a bigger neighborhood event, watch parties are a fun way to bring people together, root for Team USA and enjoy the excitement of the Games with friends and neighbors. To help spread the word, hosts can list their events on the City’s official Event Calendar, making it easy for residents to find watch parties happening across Long Beach.

Getting involved is simple: plan your watch party with the Olympic Competition Schedule, submit your event details through the City’s Winter Games Watch Party form and once approved, your event will be promoted for the community to discover. The City will also help connect host organizations and amplify events throughout the Games to further increase visibility and community engagement.

Long Beach is ready to celebrate the Winter Olympics together — one watch party at a time.
