Long Beach Seeks Community Input Ahead of 2028 Games

Before the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games make their way to our beloved shoreline, the City of Long Beach wants local voices to be heard and reflected in the planning process through a short community survey.
Long Beach will serve as a Venue City for 11 Olympic and seven Paralympic sporting events for the LA28 Games, hosting the most events of any city besides Los Angeles. Community input is key to making sure the City is inclusive and adaptive to resident’s needs as the Games approach.
The 10-minute survey is available to the community now through Sept. 30, 2026, in several languages including English, Spanish, Khmer and Tagalog.
Survey responses will be shared with the Mayor and City Council to help address benefits and impacts of the Games on the local community.
