This Weekend in Long Beach: Pride Takes Center Stage

Location: Aquarium of the Pacific (100 Aquarium Way)
What to Expect: Adults can enjoy the Aquarium of the Pacific after dark with live bands and DJs, art and culture, plus food and drink for purchase.

MacArthur Park Community Bike Ride
Date: Saturday, May 16
Time: 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Location: MacArthur Park (1321 E. Anaheim St.)
What to Expect: Bicyclists can explore the neighborhood around MacArthur Park during this four-mile scenic community ride. Pedal Movement will offer free bike tune-ups an hour before the event.

What to Expect: International City Theatre presents this free performance of “Earth Tales” for kids of all ages to experience the magic of live theatre.

Location: Start and finish on Ocean Boulevard, between Cherry and Junipero avenues
What to Expect: Runners can take part in 5K or 10K races in celebration and support of the LGBTQ+ community, organized by The Shoreline Frontrunners of Long Beach as a charitable fundraiser.

Location: Centered at Ocean Boulevard and Lindero Avenue, while traveling along iconic stretches of Ocean Boulevard and Alamitos Avenue
What to Expect: The 43rd Annual Long Beach Pride Parade features the theme "Fearless and Free." It promises to be a spectacular parade celebrating diversity and unity within the LGBTQ+ community.
