Get ready for an afternoon of creativity, culture and connection. The City of Long Beach invites the community to a free art and music festival at the Museum of Latin American Art on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 2 to 8 p.m.

Part of the City’s Neighbor-to-Neighbor program, the festival offers hands-on activities, live entertainment and family-friendly fun. Guests can enjoy free museum admission and food, plus a full lineup of interactive art exhibits and performances—from dance and puppeteering shows to zine-making workshops and a tote bag design station. The event also features live music and DJ sets from DJ Kantuta, Juanita and Juan, 3LH and more, keeping the energy high all afternoon long.

Across the street at Gumbiner Park, the Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine will offer its Mobile Recess program from 2 to 5 p.m., providing kids and families free games, sports and activities to round out the day.

Registration is free and available online at lbcity.info/n2n or in-person at the event.

The Neighbor-to-Neighbor program is funded by the California Volunteers, Office of the Governor network and led by the City’s Office of Climate Action and Sustainability—building stronger, more connected neighborhoods through creative and inclusive community events.
