Spring Fest Blossoms with Family Fun at Long Beach’s Lincoln Park on March 28

Coinciding with warmer weather and blossoming flowers, Spring Fest in Downtown Long Beach promises to be a lively community celebration with egg hunts, a bunny trail and other free activities for the whole family on Saturday, March 28.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Spring Fest at Lincoln Park (101 Pacific Ave.) will be an afternoon packed with classic springtime fun, organized by the Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine in partnership with the Long Beach Public Library.

Highlights of the event include two age-specific egg hunts. Children ages 3 to 6 will find eggs at 11:30 a.m.; kids ages 7 to 12 will follow at 12:30 p.m. Little ones under 2 can enjoy their own gentle adventure along a special bunny trail. The Easter Bunny will hop through the park throughout the event for cheerful photo opportunities.

Hands-on creativity is another big part of the celebration. Attendees can make their own flower planter souvenirs and spring-themed pipe cleaner keepsakes to take home. Arts and crafts tables, face painting, group games, a cupcake walk and special giveaways will keep the park buzzing with activity.

To participate in activities, attendees must check in upon arrival to receive a bracelet. Participation in the egg hunts is available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Complimentary event parking will be available in the Civic Center Parking Garage (332 W. Broadway).
